Pamela Gene Abalos, 63, went to be with the Lord Sunday, August 4, 2024, at her home with her loving husband.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, August 10, 2024, in the Chapel at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home in Waco, Texas, with John DeGiorgio officiating. A visitation with family and friends will precede the service at 12:30 p.m., in the Chapel.
Pamela was born and raised in Waco, and resided in Hewitt, Texas. She graduated from University High School and was a devout Christian, deeply rooted in her faith in Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior. On February 10, 1978, Pamela married the love of her life, John. Although she enjoyed her work as a data entry clerk, her greatest joy came from being a mother and grandmother, offering boundless love, support, and wisdom. Pamela was also a warm and caring friend, always ready to bring a smile to those in need. She found great comfort in spending time with her family, watching scary movies, and shopping.
Pamela is survived by her loving husband, John E. Abalos Sr.; her children, and their spouses, John E. Abalos Jr., and wife, Karla Abalos, Christina A. Cleveland, and her husband, Nickolas Cleveland, Angelica M. Luther, and her husband, David Luther. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Julian Abalos, Angelo Abalos, Adalyn J. Cleveland, Alivia A. Cleveland, and Aiden A. Luther; and her cousin, Johnnie Thorn.
