September 5, 1931 - October 4, 2006 Pat Joy Holland of Waco passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at her residence. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, October 9, at Rosemound Cemetery with Rev. Curtis Holland officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.Sunday, October 8, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Pat was born September 5, 1931 in Bryan, TX to Henry Augusta Grelen and Mary Louise Grelen. Pat graduated with a nursing degree from Hillcrest Hospital. She worked at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center, Providence Medical Center and Sante Fe Hospital of Temple. She was a member of St. Alban's Episcopal Church in Waco and a member of the Walter Baldwin O.E.S. #929. She was a loving mother, grandmother and had a passion for angels and roses. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, H. E. Hap Grelen and her sister, Nina Bonner. She is survived by her sons, Rick E. Holland and wife, Ginger of Temple, and Michael L Holland and wife, Christine of Houston; her brother Don Grelen and wife Hettie of Bryan, and her sister-in-law, Jimmie Grelen of Mexia. Also surviving are her two granddaughters, Briana Holland and Ashley Dillon and a very special friend and caregiver, Kathy Lee. Honorary pallbearers are David Johnson, Glen Kunze, Richard Harris, Dennis Long, Raul Cartagena and Sid Morse. Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Association.
