Patience Zellmer April 5, 1932 - April 9, 2012 Patience Zellmer passed away Monday, April 9, 2012, at her residence in Dallas. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 13, at Waco Memorial Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Wayne Williams officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 12, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Patience was born April 5, 1932 in Long Branch, New Jersey, to Deane and Isabelle Blakeney, Sr. and lived the majority of her early life in the Midland area, later retiring in Waco and Dallas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius Ernest Zelmer; her parents, Deane and Isabelle Blakeney; two sisters, Mary and Judith; and three brothers, Deane, David and Perry Blakeney. She is survived by one daughter, Marsha Griffin and husband, Mark, of Dallas; two brothers, Knowles Blakeney and Jim Blakeney; grandchildren, Matthew Griffin, Ryan Griffin and wife, Megan; and two great grandchildren, Abigail and Henry Griffin.
