CHRISTIAN, PATRICIA ANN Patricia Ann Christian, age 59 of Waco passed away Thursday, February 05, 2004 after a brave three year battle. Services will be held at 1:30pm Saturday, February 7 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with Rev. Harley Gordon and Rev. Reggie Blake officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial North. Visitation will be from 6-8pm Friday, February 6 at the funeral home. Mrs. Christian was born June 5, 1944 in Mexia. She was a graduate of Mexia High School and attended 4-C Business College in Waco. She married Eugene C. Christian July 5, 1963. She was a faithful member of Beacon Hill Baptist Church and taught Sunday School at both Beacon Hill Baptist and Sanger Avenue Baptist Churches as long as her health permitted. Patricia was a devoted wife and loving mother. She was always thoughtful of other people, never placing herself before others. She always had a kind spirit and a big smile, faithful and devoted to her God and family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Ware Twigg and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Ware. Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Eugene C. Christian of Waco; daughter, Kimberly Lake and husband, Chad of Longview; son, Timothy Christian of Colorado Springs, Colorado; aunts, Dorothy Smith of Waco and Ella Sandifer of Marlin and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Pallbearers will be James Underwood, Mark McKee, Elzie Earl Knecht, Bill Nixon, John Patterson, and James Hill. Memorials may be made to Beacon Hill Baptist Church Building Fund.
