Patricia Diane Berry June 3, 1950 February 11, 2014 Patricia Diane Berry Tricia, 63, of McGregor, Texas, passed away on February 11, 2014. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 15, at Woodway First United Methodist Church. The family will receive visitors after the service at a reception in the church Fellowship Hall. Tricia will be buried at the Overton City Cemetery in Overton, Texas. The graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 16. Tricia was born in Dallas, Texas, on June 3, 1950, to Eyvan Baker and Bobbie Casey. She graduated from John Tyler High School in Tyler, Texas, in 1968. She obtained a degree from Tyler Junior College Vocational School of Nursing, becoming an LVN in 1975. Tricia first worked as a nurse on the medical-surgical unit at Medical Center Hospital in Tyler, Texas. She spent most of her nursing career as the office nurse for Dr. John W. Scroggins in Tyler, Texas, and retired after many years treating patients with Dr. Scroggins. Tricia was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Woodway. She served on the Church's Board of Trustees, and she was an active member of United Methodist Women. She also was a member of Beta Sigma Phi. She loved reading and gardening, and was a member of the Goodtime Garden Club. Surviving Tricia are her husband, Mike; her children, Ammie Saucier of Winnsboro and Robbie Berry of Tyler; her sister, Tanya Musick of Grapeland; her brothers, Rex Baker and Max Saxon of Tyler; her father, Eyvan Baker of Arlington; and five grandchildren. Tricia bravely battled brain cancer for over a year thanks to the care and support provided by the doctors, nurses and staff at Providence Hospital, UT Southwestern, Texas OncologyWaco, and Providence Hospice. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials in Tricia's name be made to Woodway First United Methodist Church 21000 Woodway Drive, Waco, Texas 76712; Providence Hospice 6700 Sanger Ave. Waco, Texas 76710; or UT Southwestern Medical Center, by mail to P.O.
