Patricia Witt September 23, 1922 - June 22, 2011 Patricia Witt of Waco passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Eden House. A Celebration of Life Services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 9, at Lakewood Christian Church. Patricia was born September 23, 1922 in Hamilton, Texas to Elzy and Hellen Berry. She was a pillar for her church and the church's cook book was dedicated to Pat for her untiring service. She volunteered with American Red Cross and with her nephew, Jack Burch, delivered Meals on Wheels for many years. She had wonderful friends and cherished those friendships. She had a great love for animals. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Witt; and her two sisters, Gloria Smith and Helen Peele. She is survived by her sister, Sharon Bird; nieces and nephews, Peggy Tucker, Bruce Peele, Rick and Lana Bird, Helen and Mike Edde, Bob and Patty Peele, Tom Peele, Pam and Doug Cameron, Sarah and Ron Nemmers, Jeff and Melba Smith, Cleveland and Martha Witt and Sondra and Ross Sams; also 11 great nieces and 17 great nephews. The family wants to express their appreciation for the wonderful care from the Eden House and a special friend, Johnnie Ross. Memorials may be made to Lakewood Christian Church.
