SCOTT, PATSY Patsy Ann Fuller Scott, age 66 died Tuesday, July 31, 2001. Graveside services will be 2:00PM Friday, August 3rd at Waco Memorial Park with Rev. Ann Pennington officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 1124 Washington Ave. Mrs. Scott was born in Waco, TX on February 20, 1935 to Henry Monroe and Louise Parker Fuller. She had one much loved big brother, Wallace Henry Bubba Fuller. She was raised mostly by her Grandmother Fuller with lots of love from both the Parker and Fuller families. She graduated from Waco High School in 1953. She married her high school sweetheart- a handsome football player from LaVega High School-Robert Joseph Scott, Jr. They met and were married at First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Scott attended business school on a scholarship, which she worked hard to pay back in full. She joined her husband, Robert in Michigan City, Indiana where he was stationed in the army. She enjoyed working at Englander Corsair until the birth of their first child, Linda Lee, in 1959. David Paul Scott was born two years later in 1961, when the family returned to Texas. Back in Waco, Mrs. Scott continued her career as a wife, mom and homemaker. Among the neighborhood kids, she was known as the “Kool-Aid Mom”. Friends and family appreciated her intelligence and wry sense of humor, as well as her delicious meatloaf. She was active in her church and served many years as secretary for United Methodist Women at First Methodist Church. Survivors include: Her husband of 45 years: Robert J. Scott, Jr. Daughter and son-in-law: Linda and Brian Gilchrist of Wichita, KS Son: David Paul Scott of Waco Grandchildren: Jason Paul Scott of Waco Jacob, Sara, Zachary, and Samuel Gilchrist, all of Wichita, KS Aunts: Pat Crawford, Bernice Parker and Dorothy Parker Nieces: Robbi Murphree of Mt. View, WY Wendy Cross of Houston And two Boston Terriers, who will miss her a lot. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
