Patsy Farris September 23, 1942 - August 21, 2014 Patsy Farris of Waco passed away Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center. Services will be at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, August 24, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Burial will follow at McGregor Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, August 23, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Patsy was born September 23, 1942, in McGregor, Texas, to Ellis and Margaret Farris. Patsy had cerebral palsy, but she never let it keep her from enjoying a full life. She was a brave, adventuresome woman whose faith was admired by many, and it kept her strong to the end. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her two sisters, Betty Sue Gilbert and Shirley Hope Farris. Patsy is survived by her sister, Nancy Reynolds of Belton, Texas; nephews, Corey Barton and wife, Kendra, John Martin and wife, Jana, and Richard Martin and partner, Vern Gransden. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the William Booth Garden Apartments, 4200 N.19th St Waco TX 76708 or the Salvation Army.
