Patti Teague

TEAGUE, PATTI Patti Rodgers Teague, 83, of Dallas, formerly of Waco died Friday, October 18, 2002, at a Dallas hospital. Graveside services will be held at 1:30p.m. Tuesday, October 22 at Waco Memorial North, with the Rev. Jimmie Johnson officiating. Visitation with the family will be the day of the funeral in the Garden Room of Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd., from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00p.m. Mrs. Teague was born Patti Gene McDaniel on November 17, 1918 in Altus, Oklahoma. She moved to Wichita Falls as an infant. In 1936 she graduated from high school in Wichita Falls, where she was President and Valedictorian of her class. She graduated with honors from the University of Texas Austin in 1939 with a degree in Journalism. She married Bob Rodgers June 2, 1940 and they moved to Waco in 1957. He preceded her in death on January 27, 1976. Mrs. Teague was a bookkeeper for 27 years with Management Service for Doctors, retiring in September 1986. She married Melton B. Teague October 8, 1998. She was a longtime member of the Hamilton House, a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Waco and active in AARP for many years. Survivors include her husband Melton Teague of Dallas; two sons, Robert Young Rodgers and wife Lynn, of Lake Jackson, Mac Edward Rodgers and wife Julie of The Woodlands; two daughters, Elizabeth Freimann and husband Mark of Garland, Rita Prasil and husband Richard, of Garland; sister Wayna Brown of Houston; niece Genie Joslin, husband Jim and son Chris; nephew Rich Brown; niece, Marian Musser and husband, Bill, niece, Mary Lou Ramsey and husband, Sam Haskins, nephew, Robert McDaniel and wife, Linda, niece, Rebecca Price and husband, Truman, niece, Jennie Cole and husband, Hardy, niece Delores Rinke and husband, Bill, nephew, Bob Irvine and wife, Judy, nephew, Dick Irvine and wife, Ruth, nephew, Dan English and family, eight grandchildren, Steve Rodgers, Katie Rodgers, Amy Goff, Matthew Rodgers, Shawn Rodgers, Elissa Rodgers, Gwen McWaters, and Tigi Freimann; three great grandchildren, Amanda Rodgers, Keven Freimann and Trevor Freimann. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or First Presbyterian Church of Waco.
