Paul Edwin Wilson, Sr.

Paul Edwin Wilson, Sr. September 16, 1960 – March 9, 2021 Paul Edwin Wilson, Sr., was born September 16, 1960, to Milton and Thelma Wilson. Paul's family then moved to Franklin township, New Jersey, where he would attend elementary and middle school and graduate from Perth Amboy High School in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. While in high school, Paul excelled in baseball, football and wrestling. He sung in the high school choir and in his spare time worked on model cars. He would later move to Waco, Texas, where he worked for Time Manufacturing Company, before finding his passion for truck driving. For 12 years he worked for Schneider Trucking Company, driving coast to coast shipping goods. Paul loved spending time with his family and friends, talking about sports, past times and drag racing. After Paul retired in 2014, he coached little league football for the Lake Air Pirates. Before Paul's homecoming, he was a resident at the Woodland Springs Nursing Home. Paul leaves his cherished memories behind with his four children, Monique Nicole Wilson and Paul Edwin Wilson, Jr., of Franklin, New Jersey, and Ticoria Jefferson and Jalen Mitchell Wilson of Waco; his grandchildren, Malika Marie Wilson, Andrew Tyrrell Wilson, Malachi Lavelle Lewis, Aryanna Patrice Lewis, and Ayanna Yasmin Lewis, all of Franklin; JoĆiah Deron Wells of Waco; Amyra Eva'Marie Wilson of Atlanta, Georgia; two great grandchildren, Jayce and Jersey Wilson of Killeen, Texas; his mother, Thelma Wilson; his siblings, Gerida Wilson, Derida Davis and Tony Davis, Felicia Johnson and Terrell Johnson, all of Dallas, Cynthia Bolton and Bo Bilton and Chris Wilson and Marcia Wilson, all of Waco; and an abundance of uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends who loved him very much. Paul will forever be in our hearts and in our spirits. We thank you all for coming to show your love and support for Paul and the family at this time.
