Paul King, 67, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2001. Paul was born in Waco, Texas on September 21, 1934 to Paul B. King, Sr. and Vera Mae Rogers. Graduated Waco High School 1953. Married Alene Fay Hoffman, November 27. 1954. Graduated with a degree in Physics from Baylor University in 1960. Worked at the Naval Lab in Corona, California before moving to Brea, California with Beckman Instruments and transferred to Phoenix, Arizona 1980. Later worked for Motorola until retiring in 1998. A devoted and caring father and husband, he is survived by his wife Alene, and sons, Rick, Paul III, and daughter Deanna all of Phoenix. Son Kerwin and daughter-in-law Gina King of Seattle, Washington. Nephew Mike Marion, wife Miriam, and daughters Olivia and Natalie. His brother Dean King of Waco, Texas and sister Carol Ann King of Tyler, Texas. Sister-in-law Lorrie King of Waco, Texas and many extended family members. He was preceded in death by his brothers Gene, Kenneth and Danny. His interests included baseball, computers and his little dog Dogee. Visitation will be held Friday, November 23, 2001, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m., Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home, 6101 Bosque Blvd, Waco, TX. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 24, 2001 at 1:00 p.m., First Lutheran Church, 1008 Jefferson followed by the burial at Oakwood Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or local Animal Humane Society.
