COX, PAUL W. Paul W. Cox, age 52, of Waco died Sunday, June 24, 2001 at a Hillsboro hospital. Memorial services will be held at 9:00 AM Wednesday, June 27th at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jim Johnson officiating. The church service will be followed by a Masonic service at 10:30 AM at Waco Lodge #92, 4324 Cobbs Dr. Arrangements are through Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mr. Cox was born March 4, 1949 in San Angelo. He was reared and educated at Barnhart and graduated from Barnhart High School in 1967. He served two tours of duty in the U.S. Navy in Vietnam. He married his high school sweetheart, Vikki Winchester, June 6, 1970 in Big Lake. He moved to Waco in 1977 and was in the air conditioning business for many years. Mr. Cox was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Waco where he had served as an Elder and a Deacon. He was also a member of Waco Masonic Lodge #92 where he was a Past Master. He was also Past District Deputy Grand Master of District 61-C. He was a member of Lorena Lodge #594, York Rite and Scottish Rite Bodies and Karem Shrine Temple. His greatest achievement was his wife and children. He encouraged Tammi and Eric to always follow their dreams and made it possible for them to do so. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include: Wife: Vikki Cox of Waco Parents: Henry and Josephine Cox of San Angelo Daughter: Dr. Tammi Cox of Houston Son: Eric Cox and wife, Jennifer of Roanoke,VA Sisters: Nancy Hale and husband, Edd of Ozona Myrtle Clamon and husband, Norman of Boyd Mother-in-law and father-in-law: Rudy and Jane Winchester of Big Lake Sisters-in-law: Kathy Halley and husband, DeWayne of Tampa Debra Winchester of Waco And several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital or Charity of Choice. The family will be at 108 Landsborough to receive condolences. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
