Paula Kay Loden Cawthon of China Spring went to be with her heavenly father on Thursday, May 26, 2005 at Baylor Medical in Dallas. Services will be Saturday, May 28 at 3:30 PM at Crestview Church of Christ with Brother Jim Martin officiating. Burial will follow at China Spring Cemetery. Paula was born to Jeanette and Truman Loden on December 2, 1950 in Waco. She graduated from University High and later received a BA in education from Baylor University. On December 8, 1967, she married Ronny Cawthon. Together they had four children who she loved dearly. She was currently teaching at China Spring High School. Paula lived life to its fullest through her many social activities. She was very involved at Crestview Church including Sunday school. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and volunteered for various charitable organizations. Paula was always more than willing to help anyone in need and her positive spirit was greatly appreciated by those who knew her. She was affectionately known to her grandchildren as “Candy” for her ever present stock of sweets. She is survived by her husband, Ronny; her children, Ginger Coleman of Biloxi, Miss., Clark Cawthon of Arlington, Autumn Peralta and husband, Christian of San Antonio and Ben Cawthon of Waco. She leaves behind three grandchildren; Savannah and Dawson Coleman and Avery Peralta; sisters, Jana Goss and Laura Lambert and numerous other family members and friends.
