Pauline Collins

COLLINS, PAULINE Pauline Rose Collins, age 76, of Woodway passed away Monday, October 22, 2001 at a local nursing home. Services will be held at 3:30PM Wednesday, October 24th at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with Rev. David Leibham officiating. Visitation with the family will be 2:00-3:30PM before the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Collins was born in Seguin, TX on February 9, 1925; she was the daughter of Joseph and Rosa Gatzke. A lover of painting, traveling, boxer dogs, saving gifts from her children and saving gifts for them, she lived life in her own honest and wonderful way. She married in 1943 to Edward Thomas Collins; they shared 58 years of life together, the last 40 years in Waco after retiring from the U.S. Air Force. Their love was never ending and their life was spent devoted to each other and their children. Survivors include her husband, Edward T. Collins of Woodway, daughter, Shirley Teresa Gebhardt of San Antonio, sons, Thomas Edward Collins of Dallas and John J. Collins of Singapore, granddaughter, Ashley Ann Gebhardt of San Antonio, brothers, Edward Gatzke of Seguin and Joe Gatzke of San Antonio.
