Pauline Helen Poehls October 7, 1923 - June 3, 2014 Pauline Helen Poehls of Lacy Lakeview passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at Providence Hospital. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 6, at Waco Memorial Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor Matthew Canion officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 5, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Pauline was born October 7, 1923, in Valley Mills, Texas, to Richard and Louise Thiele. She was a homemaker and a seamstress, making clothes for her family and the public. Pauline loved her family and was always happy to have her grandchildren around. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bellmead, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ernest J. Poehls; daughter, Shirley Wright; sisters, Helen Klatt and Wilhelmine Purvis. She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Swatloski and husband, Donald, of Denton, Texas, Theresa Wallace of Whitney, Texas, Margaret Lyons and husband, Rob, of Allen, Texas; sons, Wayne Poehls of Lacy Lakeview, Milton Poehls of Ozone, Arkansas, and James Poehls and wife, Patti, of Waco; ten grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, nine step-great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren; sister, Mary Schantz and husband, Bob; and brother, Richard Thiele.
