MCCLAIN, PAULINE PAUL Pauline Paul McClain, 67, of Axtell, died Monday, May 31, 2004 at a local hospital. Services will be at 11:30 am Thursday, June 3, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Rev. Jim Cox and the Rev. Herb Ham officiating. Burial will follow at Axtell Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8 pm Wednesday, June 2, at the funeral home. Mrs. McClain was born December 5, 1936 in Tokio to Dewey and Wilhelmina Barber Paul. She was reared and educated in Tokio and West. She graduated from West High School in 1955. She married Leslie McClain June 8, 1956 in Tokio. They have lived in Axtell for the past 46 years. She had worked at the Axtell School for the past 32 years. Mrs. McClain was a member of the Church on the Rock in Bellmead. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Yeul Dean Robinson, two sisters, Carolyn Paul and Peggy Paul, two grandsons, Little Willie Lebkowsky and Kevin Souders. Her memory will forever be cherished by her husband, Leslie McClain; daughters, Drenda Lebkowsky and husband Bill of Waco, Dianne Epps and husband Danny of Palmer, Gail Souders and husband Tim of Mt. Calm, Paula Dunlap and husband Rick of Teague; grandchildren, Amy Thompson and husband Willie, John Lebkowsy, Charlie Lebkowsky, Crystal Cooley and husband Jamie, Scott Epps and wife Kim, Mattie Epps and Andrew Dunlap; great granddaughters, Kirstin and Kyla Thompson and Camryn Cooley; sisters, Doris Oden and husband George of West, Sue Morgan of Chilton; brothers, Joe Bob Paul and wife Margot of West, Mezell Paul and wife Ruth of Clyde and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Danny King, John Lebkowsky, Charlie Lebkowsky, Willie Thompson, Jamie Cooley and Scott Epps. Honorary pallbearers are Andrew Dunlap and Wayne King.
