Pauline Walker Oesch

Pauline Walker Oesch, age 93, of Waco formerly of San Antonio died Friday, January 16, 2004 at a local nursing home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm Monday, January 19 at Gholson Cemetery with Rev. Brad Moore officiating. Mrs. Oesch was born June 13, 1910 in Gholson to Jesse and Leunera Cook Walker where she was reared and educated. She married Albert G. Oesch December 19, 1963. He preceded her in death October 31, 1977. They were longtime residents of San Antonio where she owned and operated a beauty shop. She had been a resident of Waco since 1978. Mrs. Oesch was a longtime member of Asbury United Methodist Church in San Antonio. She was also active in DAV Auxiliary where she was a life member of 36th Division. She was also preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and one sister. Survivors include daughters, Jackie Kennedy and husband Charles of Fort Worth; Joan Goodwin and husband James of Crowley; five grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; brothers, Ray Walker and wife Peggy of Gholson, Jimmy Walker and wife Janie of China Spring and several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Gholson Cemetery Association or favorite charity.
