PEARL B. FARNEY, 92, of Golinda died Saturday in a Waco nursing home. Funeral services will be at 3:30 PM Monday, July 2, 2001 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home, 6101 Bosque Blvd, Minister John Rainey officiating. Burial will follow in Rosenthal Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Farney was born August 1, 1908 in Chilton to John and Bertha Bryant. She lived most of her life in Chilton and Golinda. She was a school teacher at Golinda, Satin, and Rosenthal and later helped her husband operate the Farney Grocery in Golinda. She married R. H. Bob Farney November 11, 1928; he preceded her in death January 25, 2001. Her parents, her sister Ruth Needham and her brother Roy Bryant, also preceded Mrs. Farney in death. She was a member of Southside Church of Christ. Survivors include her son Bobby Farney and his wife Barbara of Golinda; two grandchildren Joe Marc Farney and his wife Debbie of Golinda and Donita Densmore and her husband Brett of Van Alstyne and three great grandchildren Megan and Matt Farney and Devine Densmore. Pallbearers will be Darrell Farney, Loyd Farney, Darden Farney, Doyle Wayne Farney, Sonny Bowers and Joe Bob Hinton. Memorials may be made to Southside Church of Christ, 4800 S.
