Posey Beth Breithaupt Bates January 3, 1925 December 27, 2008 Posey Beth Bates was called home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ December 27, 2008. She was an active member of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit, where a celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 3, with Father John Wells and Father Tom Rardin officiating. Posey Beth was born to Posey Tabatha and Claude Vernon Breithaupt in Emhouse, Texas, January 3, 1925. She has resided in the Waco area for 19 years, devoted wife of Richard Kenneth "Ken" Bates. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Herbert Albert Frey of Corsicana, and her daughter, Amelia Frey Hart. She is survived by her husband, Richard Kenneth "Ken" Bates of Waco; and her son and daughter, Daniel Frey and Elizabeth Frey, both of Austin. She is also survived by six grandchildren and one great grandson. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Posey's honor to the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit, 1624 Wooded Acres, Waco, Texas 76710.
