VANDEVER, R. C. R. C. Vandever, age 64, of Bellmead died Tuesday, May 22, 2001 at his residence. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Thursday, May 24th at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev. Angelo Bertini officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Rosary will be recited 6:00 PM Wednesday, May 23rd at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mr. Vandever was born May 8, 1937 to Roy Thomas and Margaret McCray Vandever in Sparks, TX. He graduated LaVega High School Class of 1955. He married Georgia Titus April 7, 1956 in Bellmead. He worked for the past 23 years as a self-employed contractor. His father, Roy Thomas Vandever, and his brother, Charles Thomas Vandever preceded him in death. Survivors include: Wife: Georgia Titus Vandever of Bellmead Mother: Margaret O. Vandever of Bellmead Mother-in-law: Janie Titus of Bellmead Son: Ronnie Vandever and wife, Betsy of Kingwood Sisters: Dovie Burrow and husband, Truman of Lacy Lakeview Sue Miller and husband, Jerry of Hewitt Sisters-in-law: Delores Schrader and husband, Harry of China Spring Niece: Daphne Giles Nephews: Blake and Brent Schrader Darren, Stephen, and Gordon Burrow Granddaughter: Laura Vandever Pallbearers will be Scooter Zucha, Jerry Zucha, Darren Burrow, Stephen Burrow, Gordon Burrow, and Kenny Willis. Honorary pallbearers are Blake and Brent Schrader. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
