Rachael Marie Galindo Gonzales August 4, 1973 - April 11, 2009 Rachael Marie Galindo Gonzales Shelly Poo of Waco entered into the Lord’s garden Saturday, April 11, 2009. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 15, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Lawrence Soler as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. and Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 14, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Rachael was born August 4, 1973, in Waco, to Tony and Rosie Marie Galindo Gonzales. Rachael was baptized and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waco. She met the challenges in her life with courage and a smile and was an inspiration to all her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Apolinar Galindo, Sr., and Mr. & Mrs. Apolonio E. Gonzales. She is survived by her loving and devoted parents; sister, Felicia Lynn Gonzales; and niece, Valentina Katelyn Ramos and her father, Joe I. Ramos; as well as many aunts and uncles and cousins. Pallbearers are Andrew Ancira, Porfirio Sanchez, Jr., Richard Garcia, Apolinar Galindo, Jr., Joe I. Ramos and Lorenzo Marquez. The family offers profound gratitude and thanksgiving to nurses, Virginia Ramierz and Judy Richard, and social worker, Angela Ceccato, for their excellent care of the longest living hospice patient.
