Rae Levin November 6, 1918 - August 15, 2009 Rae Levin passed away Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Ridgecrest Retirement and Health Care. Rae Levy was born on November 6, 1918 in Illingen, Germany. She immigrated to the U.S. in 1939 on one of the last ships leaving Nazi Germany. She came to Waco to live with her brother and sister-in-law, Otto and Hilde Levy. In 1947 she married Ben Levin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Johanna Levy and husband Ben Levin; her brother and sister-in-law Otto and Hilde Levy; and her brother, Max Levy. Graveside Services for Rae Levin will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday, August 17, 2009 at Congregation Agudath Jacob Cemetery with Rabbi Gordon Fuller officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Congregation Agudath Jacob or your favorite charity.
