Raymond H. Hoeldtke

Raymond H. Hoeldtke, 84, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023. A private family graveside service will be held at Rosemound Cemetery, in Waco, Texas. There will be a visitation from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home in Waco.

Raymond was born August 13, 1938, in Waco, Texas, to Richard and Minnie Hoeldtke. He grew up with his three sisters: Mildred Yarrow, Barbara Passant, and Linda Dollar. Raymond attended Waco schools and married his high school sweetheart, Pat Fife, on September 26, 1964. He worked in Machine Repair at Owens-Illinois glass manufacturing for over 40 years. After his retirement, Raymond continued to do the work he enjoyed, giving back to the community as a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. As a dedicated father and husband, Raymond’s family was his true love throughout his life. He cherished life and lived it to the fullest, whether it was visiting the beach with extended family, boating with the grandkids, hunting, and fishing with his sons, or simply admiring the sunset on the patio with Pat.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Minnie Hoeldtke; and his sister, Mildred.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Pat Hoeldtke, who will miss him dearly; his sons, Gregg Hoeldtke and wife Melissa, and Brian Hoeldtke and wife Melissa; as well as his grandchildren: Grant, Sarah, Andrew, Brandon, and Matthew.
