Richard Roland officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 7, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Reba June Stolebarger, child of Lawrence and Reba English Stolebarger, was born August 3, 1930, in Center, Shelby County, Texas. She was a member of Central Christian Church of Waco. June graduated from Center High School in 1947 and attended Stephen F. Austin College in Nacogdoches, Texas, for a short time. While she was there, she played the cornet in the band and sang with the college orchestra. She worked for Southwestern Bell in 1948, as an operator in Liberty, Rosenberg and in 1966 moved to Waco, retiring here after 41 years of service. She had always had one other main interest, and that was airplanes, in which she had her first solo flight in a J-3 Piper Cub. June enjoyed bowling on the company league, water skiing, horseback riding and from time to time motorcycle riding. She was also an avid fan of the Baylor Lady Bears Basketball for 16 years. She played the trumpet with the Waco Community Band for 10 years and sang occasionally with a small group. Her other interests include woodworking and hanging out at the beach in Galveston. She was preceded in death by her parents and her aunt, Ruby Gustavson. She is survived by her close friends, Lucile and Louise Brady, Julie Patterson, cousins, friends and her cat, Claude.
