Reeva Reesing Harlan

REEVA REESING HARLAN, 84, died Friday, November 16, 2001 in a Houston nursing home. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 20, 2001 at Oakwood Cemetery. Rev. Fran Porter officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Monday at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home, 1124 Washington Ave. Mrs. Harlan was born May 9, 1917 in Gatesville, TX. She moved to Waco when she was 3 years old and lived there most of her life. She graduated from Waco High School in 1935. She married Ade Buddy Harlan on December 13, 1936; he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Sally Lu Harlan. Mrs. Harlan was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church Survivors include her son Randy Harlan of Houston, her grandson Christopher Harlan of Warren, MN; her sister Christine Hester of Washington and her sister-in-law Annie Harlan of Waco. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Bowen, J. C. Pyle, Bob Sheehy, Sam Nay and Wally Cox.
