Reta L.Bridger January 1, 1918 July 9, 2011 Reta Lorine Bridger, 93, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2011. Services will be 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12, at Seventh and James Baptist Church with Rev. Donald Denny and Rev. C. Wally Christian officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday, July 11, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Reta was born January 1, 1918, to Ferreoal B. and Mary Magdalene King Burch, in Hearne, TX. She graduated from Hearne High School in 1936, and married Bill Bridger on November 27, 1946. She worked for the Bluebonnet Ordinance Place during WWII and for Edison Insurance Co. She was in ladies alterations at Goldstein Migel for 17 years, retiring in 1980. She was an active member of South Waco Senior Adult Center and a member of Seventh and James Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; parents; twin sister, Reba Blake; sisters Grace Fredericks and Helen Kilgo. She is survived by daughter, Judy Taft and husband Bear, of Beverly Hills, TX.; son Kenneth Bridger and wife, Sara, of Plano; grandchildren, Brian Bridger and wife Hillary, Lisa Gray and husband, Demond, B. J. Taft and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are B. J. Taft, Demond Gray, Demarus Gray, Ed Hall, Bill Teague and Brent Watson.
