Rev. Bennie Carel Mcbryde

MCBRYDE, BENNIE C. REV. Reverend Bennie Carel McBryde, 91, of Waco passed away Saturday August 14, 2004 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be Monday, August 16, 1:00p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery Reverend McBryde was born on May 4, 1913 in Whitesboro. He graduated from Whitesboro High School, South Eastern State Teacher’s College in Durant, OK and Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. He married Vada Mae Ballard May 6, 1960. He was a Methodist minister and served churches in OK and Central Texas Conference. He moved to Waco in June of 1977. He was a member of Lakeshore United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Veda McBryde. Memorials may be made to Lake Shore United Methodist Church.
