Reva Mae Green

June 8, 1917 — December 12, 2001

GREEN, REVA SANDERS “Oh, how happy is the woman who believes in God for his promises to her come true.” Luke 1:45 Reva Sanders Green died on December 12, 2001. Services will be held at 3:30PM Saturday, December 15th at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with Chaplain Curtis Holland officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be 7:00-8:30PM Friday, December 14th at the funeral home. Hers was a victorious life whose foundation was Jesus Christ. In sickness and in health, her beloved husband, Alfred Luther Green, was by her side. Al entered God’s presence on November 7, 2001. Now they both join in eternal praise of the God they served together for 62 years. Reva Green invested her life in her family and her church. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Gail and Dennis Linam and Derrell and Shari Green. Grandchildren include Angela Linam; Diane Linam and husband, Farshad; Brooks Linam and wife, Sherri; Scott Green, David Green, and their mother, Linda Warren; and Kali Green. She is also survived by her sister, Gerry, and beloved nephews, nieces, and cousins. The Greens previously resided in Fort Worth where they were committed members of Ridglea Baptist Church. Then, for over forty years, Al and Reva worshipped and ministered at Columbus Avenue Baptist Church in Waco where Mrs. Green served in the Children’s Division prior to her illness. Memorials in honor of Reva Green may be made to Columbus Avenue Baptist Church or Dallas Baptist University. “In You our parents put their trust; they trusted and You delivered them.” Psalm 22:4 WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
