Richard Burton Jennings

Richard Jennings, lovingly known as “Paw Paw”, passed away peacefully, Saturday, March 22, 2025 at the age of 62. In honor of Richard’s wishes, no services will be held at this time. His loved ones find comfort in his devotion to family and the words of Rossiter Worthington Raymond, “Life is eternal, and love is immortal, and death is only a horizon; and a horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight”

A native of the Waco area, Richard was born March 26, 1962 to the late James and Margie Jennings. He was a hardworking man who dedicated his time to many jobs through out his life, including VanTran, Napa Auto, and Eubanks Automotive.

Richard had a deep love for football, especially the Dallas Cowboys. He found joy in attending little league games and sharing his passion for sports by collecting and selling sports cards. His love for the game was only surpassed by his love he had for his family.

Richard is survived by his close family members, his sisters, Geani and Deborah; his sons, Paul Jennings and his wife, Alicia and Brandon Jennings and his wife, Crystal; as well his cherished grandchildren, Izak, Elizabeth, Michelle, Andrew, Adam and Logan; along with several other cherish extended family and friends. They will forever hold his memory in their hearts.

Richard’s presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
