COWAN, RICHARD W. DICK Richard W. Dick Cowan, age 60, of Waco died Tuesday, November 19, 2002. Services will be held at 9:30am Thursday, November 21 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with Chaplain Dee Rucker and Chaplain Carl Rucker officiating. Graveside services will be held at 4pm Thursday at Woodlawn Garden of Memories in Houston. Visitation with the family will be from 4:30-6:30pm Wednesday, November 20 at the funeral home. Mr. Cowan was born October 23, 1942 in Wichita Falls to Perry Carl and Louise Skinner Cowan. He was reared and educated in Wichita Falls and was a graduate of the University of Houston. He had been a resident of Waco since 1972. Mr. Cowan was most recently President and Chief Executive Officer of Marathon Power Technologies. Survivors include wife, Donnis Cowan of Waco; sons, Robert W. Cowan and wife, June, and Steven M. Cowan, Sr. and wife, Anne; grandchildren, Caroline, Justin, Michael, Griffin and Sarah, all of Houston; brothers, Jerry B. Cowan and wife, Lovella, of Houston and Jack C. Cowan and wife, Nell, of Lafayette, Louisiana, and nephews, Michael and Stephen Gault. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation, Parkinson’s Foundation or Hillcrest Community Hospice.
