Rilla Lawson October 18, 1912 - December 2, 2007 Rilla Lawson of Waco passed away Sunday, December 2, 2007. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at Waco Memorial Park with the Rev. Curtis Holland officiating. Visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m.Monday, December 3, 2007 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Rilla was born October 18, 1912 in Waco. She loved and cared for many children in her home. She was preceded in death by her father Johnnie Lawson; three brothers, Alvis, Carl and Lester Lawson. She is survived by a brother, John Edward Lawson, and his wife and her special sister-in-law, Ruby Dean; one sister, Loretta Lawson; nieces, Brenda and Leslie Anderson, and Beverly; one nephew, James Lawson; and many loving cousins. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Ollie Mae for all her loving care; and to Ruby Dean, for all the loving attention she gave. Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
