Robert Farrel Plymate April 13, 1921 - August 7, 2006 Robert Plymate of Waco passed away Monday, August 7, 2006. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, August 10, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room with Rev. Jack Mullins officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Mr. Plymate will lie in state beginning Wednesday morning, August 9th. Robert was born April 13, 1921 in Roswell, NM to Farrel E. and Bertha Plymate. On July 1, 1944 Robert married the love of his life, Wanda Rhea Wanser. Robert and “Wendy” celebrated their 62nd anniversary this year. Robert was best known for his wit and his big heart. He had a wonderful sense of gusto and was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. Robert was a member of Lakewood Christian Church and especially enjoyed participating in LOAF. Mr. Plymate was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and his best horse, King. He is survived by wife Wanda Rhea Plymate, daughters: Rhonda Plymate Williams and husband Roger Williams of Nacogdoches; Patti Plymate-McEnnis and husband Tom McEnnis of Georgetown; grandson, Robert Austin Williams and granddaughter, Bonnie Bea McEnnis.
