Robert J. Bob Epperson

EPPERSON, ROBERT J. BOB Robert J. Bob Epperson, age 85, of Satin died Sunday, January 13, 2002. A Masonic graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, January 18 at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Art Torpy and Waco Masonic Funeral Committee officiating. Visitation with the family will be 5:00-7:00PM Thursday, January 17 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 1124 Washington Ave. Mr. Epperson was born November 7, 1916 in Oklahoma City. He was reared and educated in Amarillo. He graduated from University of Texas with a Pharmaceutical Degree. He married Jean Warner Breeding June 5, 1965. She preceded him in death October 15, 1998. He was a registered pharmacist for over 60 years. He was manager of Red Arrow Laboratories and became president of Truitt Laboratories in Dallas. Mr. Epperson was a member of Austin Avenue United Methodist Church, Waco Masonic Lodge #92, where he was a Past Master, and Karem Shrine Temple. He was also a past president of the Drug Travelers Association. He was an avid fisherman and golfer. Survivors include daughter; Leanna McCullough of Waco, sons; Robert J. Epperson, Jr. and wife, Irene of Premont, Webb Breeding and wife, Susan of Houston, and Bayard Breeding and wife, Peggy of Boerne, grandson; Kelley Warner McCullough of Waco, brothers-in-law; Jim Warner and wife, Billye of Waco, Barton Darrow and wife, Ann of Albuquerque, New Mexico, several nieces and nephews, and his loving companion, Evelyn Barker. Honorary pallbearers are Watson Arnold, Cavitt Caufield, Jim Warner, Barton Darrow, Carl Barrett, Harry Trippet, Jesse Milam, Goodhue Smith and Gordon Rountree. Memorials may be made to Austin Ave. United Methodist Church, Karem Shrine Temple or Brazos Forum. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
