Robert J. Green September 4, 1918 - April 4, 2014 Robert J. Green of Waco passed away Friday, April 4, 2014, at his residence. Graveside Services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 8, at Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. Chuck Treadwell officiating. Burial will follow. Robert was born September 4, 1918, in Bailey, Texas. He attended East Texas State and Baylor University, was in the Active Reserve in the U.S. Air Force for 17 years and was a teacher and assistant principal in the Waco public schools. He was also an avid Bridge player and a devoted member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Waco. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Edna; and one sister, Ina Pearl Moore.
