But more than anything he loved being a daddy to his boys and the best “PopPop” to his grandbabies. He was an amazing husband, dad, son, big brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and grandson. He loved with his whole heart. He was preceded in death by his father, Victor Acosta. He is survived by his wife, Crystel D. Reed, of 28 years; his sons Robert J. Reed II and Levi Acosta Reed; bonus daughter, whom he loved very much, Gabi Cortes “Goobnz;” grandchildren Aliviana “the Booch” Reed, Zeke’Angel Marinez “Zeka-boy,” and Robert J Reed III “Terry-dactyl;” his parents, Elizabeth Dorsett and Richard Dorsett Sr; brothers Dustin Norman and Richard Dorsett Jr.; grandmother Edna “Ma” Reed; father and mother in-law, Israel and Rose “Johnny” Adames. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and brothers and sister in-law; and by his lifelong friend, David “Chunky” Salinas, who was like a brother to him. Robert made a huge impact and left a lasting impression on anyone he crossed paths with. He will be truly, madly, deeply missed by all who knew him.
