BUTLER, ROBERT K. BOB Robert K. Bob Butler, age 59 of Lorena died Friday, October 3, 2003 at his residence. Memorial services will be held at 3:30pm Thursday, October 9 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mr. Butler was born January 4, 1944 in Waco to the late Claude Cruse Butler of Valley Mills and Hazel Orlena Cunningham Butler of China Spring. Bob lived most of his life in Waco until 1987 when he moved to Lorena. He had been a self employed painter/paperhanger since 1973 until retiring, he also loved to buy and sell collectables. Bob was an avid antiquer his entire life. He dealt antiques and collectables around the world for a number of years. He bought and sold unique items, including a museum quality collection of Poncho Villa artifacts from the Mexican/American War including some personal items of Poncho Villa. Bob was also an entrepreneur starting several businesses, in the Waco area, a clothing store on Waco Dr., Cyber Star Computers in Robinson and The Cozy Corner Café in Lacy Lakeview. All though quite busy in many areas his true passion was electronics and technology. Survivors include son, Bryan N. Butler of Austin, sister, Shirley Braham of Arlington and lifelong friend and ex-wife, Helen. His death was unexpected and he was taken far too soon. His honesty, knowledge, love and friendship will be deeply missed by many. We all love and miss you very much.
