ROBERT WARE May 12, 1911-December 16, 2005 Robert L. Bob Ware, of Waco, passed away Friday, December 16, 2005 at a local nursing home. A family graveside service will be Monday, December 19, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 18th and Gurley Avenue, with Dr. Randy Hughes, officiating. Mr. Ware was born May 12, 1911 to T. B. and Pearl Ware. He was a long-time member of Emmanuel Baptist Church serving as a deacon and Sunday School teacher. He served a number of years as a Boy Scout leader in Lampasas prior to moving to Waco in 1960. He loved his church and the Boy Scouts organization. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Juanita, a son, Larry G. Ware, two sisters, and one brother. He is survived by his sons, Robert J. Ware and wife, Alice of Corpus Christi and Teddy L. Ware and wife, Kitty of Valley Mills; daughter-in-law, Jeanne Ware of Waco; eight grandchildren, Rodney Ware of San Angelo, Cheryl Hodges of Dickinson, Darren Ware of Las Vegas, NV, Greg Ware of Waco, Amy York of Groesbeck, Dedra Flaherty of Temple, Marlisa Price of Buffalo, WY, and Michele Starr of Lorena; and eighteen great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Building Fund at Emmanuel Baptist Church.
