Robert Lewis Holland July 14, 1930 – June 11, 2016 Robert “Bud” Holland of Temple went to be with the Lord on Saturday June 11, 2016. The graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 16, at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 15, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Bud was born July 14, 1930, in Houston to Lewis and Beulah Holland. Bud worked for Lone Star Gas Company for 35 years, and he served four years in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Bud was a member of The Vine Church of Christ in Temple and a member of the Herring Lodge No. 1224 of Waco. Survivors include his brother, Hubert Holland of Lancaster; sister, Doris Bradshaw of Crawford; brother, Tom Holland and wife, Linda, of Arlington; son, Michael Holland and wife, Christine, of Houston; son, Rick Holland and wife, Ginger, of Temple; granddaughters, Briana Holland of Temple and Ashley Dillon of China Spring; great granddaughters, Emylia and Eleanor Womack of China Spring; and several nieces and nephews.
