Robert Lewis Webb Sr.

Robert Lewis Webb, Sr., 78, passed away the morning of Monday, May 22, 2017, at home with his family. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 25, at Waco Memorial Park with Rev. Greg Brumit officiating. Visitation will be 5:30-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 24, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Lewis, as he was known by family and friends, was born in Dixon, Illinois, and moved to Texas at the age of 11. He married the love of his life, Margaret, in 1966. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for nine years and was a tradesman working in construction for over thirty years. Lewis was an avid outdoorsman and craftsman who enjoyed spending time with his family. Always able to lend a helping hand, there was nothing that Lewis could not do. Lewis was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Wilson Webb; mother, Verna Bell Jones Webb; sister, Jeanne Walker; and brother-in-law, Harold Kettler. Lewis is survived by his wife, Margaret; eldest son, Robert with his wife, Aimee, and family; son, Phillip and his wife, Karen; and his youngest sister, Diane Kettler and her family.
