Robert Neil Murphy

MURPHY, ROBERT NEIL Robert Neil Murphy, age 88, of Waco died Thursday, March 27, 2003 at a Tyler hospital. Graveside services will be held at 1pm Saturday, March 29 at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Mark Skorheim officiating. Arrangements are through Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mr. Murphy was born November 2, 1914 in the China Spring area, where he was reared and educated. He married Mavis Terrell in 1936. She preceded him in death September 9, 1997. He was also preceded by his brother and three sisters. He was an auto parts salesman for 50 years, the last 35 years with Cogdell Automotive Supply. Mr. Murphy was a mason and member of Sparks Memorial United Methodist Church in Bellmead. Survivors include daughter, Lugene Tucker and husband, Robert of Tyler; grandson, Robert Blake Tucker and wife, Patty of Tyler and great grandchildren, Nicole, Taylor, and Brandon Tucker.
