She graduated from Waco High School in 1939, where she was a member of the tennis team. Rochelle married classmate, Johnny Pyles, a pilot, who was killed in a bombing mission during WWII in the European Theater. On a blind date, she met future husband, George Robert Scott, Jr., whom she married July 18, 1946, he preceded her in death July 20, 2000. Rochelle fulfilled her lifetime ambition by becoming an LVN. She was a student of the last graduating class of Hillcrest Baptist Hospital. She served the Waco Community as an emergency room nurse until her retirement in 1978. She filled her time with her grandchildren and enjoyed memberships in the Garden Forum as well as the Waco Historical Foundation, where she served as president of the Earl Napier Kinard House 1986-1987. Her sense of humor and strength will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Survivors include daughter, Debra Kelinske of Waco, son, George R.
