Romalita Hale June 12, 1933 - December 9, 2008 Romalita Hale of Waco passed away at her home Tuesday, December 9, 2008. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, December 11, at Oakwood Cemetery. Ms. Hale will be in state beginning Wednesday, December 10, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Romalita was born June 12, 1933 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to Charles and Idalee Hale. She received her Bachelor of Arts and Master of History from Baylor, and lived her life as a Christian history teacher in the Waco I S D. She was proud to be a 2nd generation member of the National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution and a lifetime member of the Parent Teacher Association and Retired Teachers Association. Romalita was a member of Austin Avenue United Methodist Church in Waco. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Mrs. Jeanne Marie Presley. She is survived by her sister, Camille Hale of Waco; two nephews and three great nieces. Memorials may be made to Austin Avenue United Methodist Church or the charity of your choice.
