Roman Palacios passed away Friday, December 31, 2021. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at Oakwood Cemetery. Roman was born July 17, 1944, in Mart, Texas, to Salvador and Gloria Palacios. He worked as a broom maker for many years and was retired from Owens Corning in Waxahachie. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son Nick Palacios, daughter Rita Palacios Munoz, son-in-law Frank Sustaita, and brother-in-law Don Claridy. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ophelia Palacios; children, Dianna Sustaita, Raymond Palacios, and Louis Palacios; grandchildren, Renee Munoz and husband Nick, Fabian Munoz and wife Daniella, Ricky Munoz and wife Rachel, Yolanda Munoz and husband Moses, Racheal Munoz, Bobby Munoz and wife Toni, Ruben Munoz and wife Ana Marie, Marcus Munoz and wife Carrie; 23 great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Rodriguez; and brothers, Manuel Palacios and wife Mary, and Salvador Palacios, Jr. Memorials may be made to the animal rescue charity of your choice.
