Ronald A. Coleman November 14, 1939 - December 29, 2007 Ronald A. Coleman, 68, of Elm Mott died Saturday, December 29, 2007, at his residence surrounded by his family. Services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, January 3, in the chapel at Wilkirson Hatch Bailey Funeral Home with Dr. Paul Stripling officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, January 2, in the Garden Room at the funeral home. Ronald was born in Ogdensburg, NY to Frankie and Mary Reid Coleman and later moved to Rochester, NY. He married Joan Baranowski on November 19, 1960 in St. Stanislaus Church in Rochester; together they had six children. Ronald moved his family to Waco, TX in 1966. He worked for various employers through the years such as Gordon Rountree Motors for 20 years and for the last 10 years he was employed with Time Manufacturing. Ronald loved to work in his vegetable garden, his specialty was tomatoes. He was an avid reader and loved playing cards with his family especially during holiday time; he also loved to cook “Golabki” Polish word for stuffed cabbage for his family as well. For the people that knew him, he will be remembered for saying to people “That’s Right”. Ronald had beautiful blue eyes and a great smile. His family will miss him dearly. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, John, H. Daniel and Richard Coleman. Survivors are his wife of 47 years, Joan; daughters, Lori Thornton and husband, Donnie of Cypress; Kathy Weinberger and husband, David of Mt. Calm; Debbie Jones and husband, Ronnie of Lacy Lakeview; Colleen Roberts and husband, Mike of Lacy Lakeview; sons, Kenny Coleman of Elm Mott and Ron Coleman and wife, Tanya of Bastrop; sister, Shirley Donaldson and husband, Floyd of Rochester, NY; brothers, Franklin Coleman and wife, Angie of Rochester, NY; William and Shirley Coleman of Golinda; sister-in-law, Rose Coleman of Rochester, NY and Judith Varga of West; grandchildren, Brandon, Stephen and Matthew Jones; Lisa and Colton Cunningham; Josh and Ryan Roberts; Christian, Caleb and Connor Coleman; and several nieces and nephews.
