Ronald D. Clark

August 2, 1931 — January 7, 2004

CLARK, RONALD D. Ronald D. Clark, age 72, of Waco died Wednesday, January 7, 2004 at a local hospital. Services will be held at 3:30pm Saturday, January 10 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Dr. Glenn Hilburn officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial North. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8pm Friday, January 9 at the funeral home. Mr. Clark was born August 2, 1931 in Cyril, Oklahoma where he was reared and educated. He graduated from Southwestern School of Pharmacy in Weatherford, Oklahoma. He also attended U.C.L.A. He was a veteran of U.S. Army stationed at Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio. He married Shirley Scoggins December 21, 1952. She preceded him in death May 26, 1989. He married Rebecca Wardlaw August 1, 1992. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Charles Arthur and Eileen Black Clark, two brothers, Austin Clark and Shirley Clark. He was a pharmaceutical representative for Eli Lilly Co. for 27 years, retiring in 1984. After retirement he worked as a pharmacist in the Waco area. Mr. Clark was a member of First United Methodist Church and Texas Pharmacy Association. He was an avid sportsman and loved spending time with his family. Survivors include wife, Rebecca Wardlaw Clark of Waco; daughters, Missy Harrell and husband, Blake of Crawford and Jennifer Weber and fiancé, Michael Schornack of Waco; sons, Dr. Jeffrey Clark and wife, Holly of Temple and Trevor Wardlaw and wife, Kem of McGregor; grandchildren, Austin Clark, Chase Harrell, Tanner Harrell, Patrick Wardlaw, Brett Wardlaw, Victoria Wardlaw and Grace Weber; sisters, Ruby Roggli and husband, Tom of Winchester, Tennessee, Lanelle Harrison and husband, Leon, Colleen Sylvester, and Waldine Knodel all of Cyril, Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Methodist Children’s Home of Waco, Special Fund in memory of Ronald Clark, 1111 Herring Avenue, Waco, TX 76708.
