ROSALIE HUNT Rosalie Hunt, 100, formerly of Waco died Wednesday, April 9, 2003 in California. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 14 at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Michael Patterson officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 14 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mrs. Hunt was born in McGregor, Texas on February 12, 1903 to William “Babe” and Lucy Turner. She was a member of Western Heights Baptist Church prior to moving to California in 1991to live with her sister. Mrs. Hunt was an avid bridge player and, at one time, a member of the Hamilton House. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, U.L. Hunt. Survivors include her sister, Mary Katherine Eldredge; sisters-in-law, Bobbie McKethan of Waco, Opal Mae Hunt of Houston, Patsy Hunt of Atlanta, TX and Gladys Hunt of Waco; and several nieces and nephews, including great and great great.
