Rosemary Bartos DuLaney March 6, 1928 - March 13, 2007 Rosemary Bartos DuLaney of Speegleville passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at her residence. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 15, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Rev. Pat Cummings, pastor at Patton Baptist Church, officiating. There will be a private burial. Rosemary was born March 6, 1928 in Waco, TX to Frank and Ida Rose Bartos. She attended Waco public schools and graduated from Waco High School in 1945 and then attended Baylor University. She and Charles DuLaney married on June 16, 1951 at St. John’s Methodist Church. She was a loyal and devoted member of Lakewood Christian Church in Waco for 37 years. She had been active in the Junior Shakespeare Club, Milam Garden Club, McLennan County Medical Alliance and the Alliance Bible Study Group. She was preceded in death by her parents; and then in 1980, her son, Charles Chuck DuLaney, Jr. She is survived by her devoted husband and primary caregiver for the last several years, Dr. Charles DuLaney; her daughter, Deborah Butler and husband, Gary of Valley Mills; granddaughter, Heather Stewart and husband, Charles Chuck of Waco; grandson, Christopher Butler of Valley Mills; aunt, Mary Massman Faries of Waco; sister-in-law, Ruelene Berry of Sturgis, KY; and niece, Renee Anderson of Nashville, TN, and numerous cousins and friends. Honarary pallbearers are the DuLaney’s “Corvette Friends” and Gene Hall. Special thanks to Providence Hospice, Providence Health Center and Providence Home Health Care.
