UPSHAW, ROSETTA STUBBY Rosetta Stubby Upshaw of Waco died Sunday, June 8, 2003 at a local nursing home. Graveside services will be held at 10am Tuesday, June 10 at Waco Memorial North with Mrs. Mary Mitchell officiating. Arrangements are through Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Ms. Upshaw was born in Dewey, Oklahoma; she attended schools at Bartlesville and Bowring, Oklahoma. She moved to Waco in 1952 and attended Baylor University. She was employed as PBX Operator at Rocketdyne for 18 years. She was a member of the PBX Club, Jane Phillips Sorority and Epsilon Sigma Alpha International Sorority. She was the foster daughter of the late Mrs. R. C. Ruby Davis Barber and Raymond C. Barber. She is survived by lifelong friends, Rosemary and Krider Van Deusen and Billie Sumpter. Memorials may be made to Hillcrest Hospice.
