Our Beloved Rosie Flores Garcia, 60, of Waco, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2023, at The Brazos at Waco Nursing Home.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 29, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, December 28, with visitation until 8:00 p.m., in the Chapel at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home.
Rosie was born in Dallas, Texas on April 30, 1963, to John and Amelia Flores. She was one of seven children and had five sisters and one brother. She worked diligently as a supervisor at Albertson’s for 18 years. She was a loving mother, who enjoyed her time listening to music, dancing and spending time with her family and friends. Rosie was a wonderful cook and was always happy.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Flores.
Rosie is survived by her four daughters, Christy Sais and her husband, Arturo Sais, Candace Gutierrez, Ashley Garcia and her husband, Jay Rivera, Amber Garcia and her husband, Daniel Faggette; her seven grandchildren, Arturo Sais III, Jared King Sais, Mila Rivera, Malayah Rivera, Miah Rivera, Carter Faggette, and Nova Faggette. She is also survived by her mother, Amelia Flores; and her siblings, Sandy Flores Burch, Johnny Flores, Linda Flores Smith, Brenda Ramos, Geneva Lechler and Felicia Luevano.
Pallbearers will be: Arturo Sais III, Arturo Sais Jr., Milton Ramos, Alejandro Luevano, Adrian Flores, Rickey Flores and Johnny Flores.
Rest in Peace Rosie, your family will carry your memory on forever. They will dance, share stories, and enjoy life in your name. Until we see you again, Mom.
