ROSS E. TUCKER Ross E. Tucker, age 72 of Waco, died Saturday, Sept. 13, 2003 at a local hospital. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd., with Rev. Bill Schibler and Rev. Ralph Powers officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial North. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16 at the funeral home. Mr. Tucker was born on November 22, 1930 in Andice, Texas, on the family farm, to the late James Melton Tucker and Veula May Nunn Tucker. He was a graduate of Georgetown, Texas schools and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He married Opal Farney, who preceded him in death on March 15, 2002. Mr. Tucker worked for over 30 years before retiring at Bird-Kultgen Ford as the Parts Manager. He was a longtime member of First Baptist Church Golinda. Also preceding him death were his parents and two brothers, Claudie and Pleze Tucker. Survivors include his sister, Merle Tucker of Georgetown, Texas and several nieces and nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of First Baptist Church Golinda, Gene Havis, and Charlie Furrer. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Golinda. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
